Responding To A Data Subject Access Request
The Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) gives individuals (also known as data subjects) the right to discover what data an organization is holding about them, why they are holding that data, and who else their data and other personal information is disclosed to. These Data Subject Access Requests can prove costly and challenging for a company to respond to. In this session, Joe Pirrota, SVP of Legal Services at Forrest Solutions, will outline the rights of a Data Subject under CPA and share best practices for how to respond to a Data Subject Access Request in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
